Alum Patrick Conway (Penn CSP 05-07) named President & CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. He currently serves as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Deputy Administrator for Innovation and Quality, and Director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).

Cheerag D. Upadhyaya, M.D., M.Sc., FAANS (Michigan CSP 06-08) has been appointed surgical co-director for the acclaimed Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute (SLMBNI), part of Saint Luke's Health System. Dr. Upadhyaya has served in the role on an interim basis since 2016.
